Cell Phones in the Civil War????? LOL
Imagine the kind of reconnaissance that the armies could have
had with cell phones on the battlefield. Unfortunately, there were none and if we catch you using one you will always find
yourself on this page :)

Sorry Michelle, we caught you!

An enthusiastic newspaper photographer throws herself into
the thick of things during the first battle. Having never photographed a reenactment before, this green photographer found
it very challenging to follow all the fast-moving action. As a result, she was seen shooting pictures at point blank range
and running all over the field amongst the troops. At one point she even tried to get an "on the spot" live action intereview
with one of the soldiers! Her intrusion into the field of honor decked in all manner of modern clothing and equiptment was
certainly an eyesore that greatly distracted the viewing spectators and some of the combatants. Media photographers who blatantly
put themselves in the middle of the action should make more of an effort to blend in more discreetly by dressing in period
clothing and covering their modern equiptment as much as possible. Event organizers and park officials should advise these
media photographers beforehand and seek compliance of these rules before they take the field.

Originally we thought this soldier was answering a nature
call. We later discovered that this was not the case. The photo provides a humorous scene nontheless. The reenactor explains
what was really going on:
"Yes that's me . looking at that picture, I must be
peeing on the tree in the middle of the re-enactment. This blooper pictures show's something that looks like something
else. What I'm really doing is trying to repair the fly of my trousers that had just popped two buttons, I remember this
well because two guys joked that I looked like I was peeing . We all had a good laugh and I quickly explained what
I was really doing..."
